Location & Attraction

Koh Samui is the third largest island in Thailand and is well known for coconut trees and sunny beaches. Small and unique, the island is a stunning place for a luxury holiday. The island is green and lush and filled with tropical waterfalls, forest, coconut trees, Buddhist temples, and small shops. It is located directly south of Bangkok in the Gulf of Thailand and is about a 50 minute flight from Bangkok

Our resort is situated directly on the beach in a secluded cove approximately 1.5 km from Lamai Beach, the second largest beach on Koh Samui, Thailand. The location is private and romantic, with no resorts directly on either side of us, which gives the resort a feeling of privacy and isolation. However, it is only a short ride to the center of Lamai for shopping, restaurants and nightlife.

Fisherman’s Village Samui

Fisherman’s Village Samui is a historical part of Bophut, with rustic-style buildings housing boutique stores, trendy restaurants and a small selection of hotels lining the narrow Beach Road. Every Friday, the whole area becomes the site of the Fisherman’s Village Walking Street market, attracting huge numbers of shoppers from across the island for the amazing variety of wares and the lively atmosphere.

This old part of Bophut Beach obviously takes its name from the fact that it was once home to a thriving fishing community. The fishermen have moved on and the main pier has collapsed. Even so, the old wooden shophouses remain, with a warren of narrow alleys running between many of them, giving the village a charming old look and feel.

Location: It’s located in Bophut, Koh Samui.
Ambiance: Rustic with boutique stores, trendy restaurants, and a small selection of hotels lining a narrow Beach Road.

Hin ta Hin Yai samui

Hin Ta and Hin Yai are the highlights of some fascinating rock formations at the southern end of Lamai Beach on Koh Samui. They’ve been a source of giggles and wonder on the island since they were discovered by the locals many years ago. Known as Grandpa (Ta) and Grandma (Yai), the rocks look, respectively, like male and female genitalia.
